Natural Dye Fabric Texture Pack

A collection of fabric, lace and buttons, ideal for mixed-media and embroidery, hand dyed with natural dyes.

1 piece cotton calico, 1 piece silk noil, 1 piece wool pre-felt, 1 piece cotton mesh

Fabric Size is approx 25cm x 25cm but may vary

1 metre (40") wide cotton lace (4" 10 cms, 1 metre (40") narrow cotton lace (1" 2.5 cms)

6 vintage linen buttons

Though mordanted and well rinsed, I cannot guarantee colour-fastness nor light-fastness, this being the nature of natural dyestuffs. Do not soak, keep away from prolonged bright sun.

Natural dyestuffs produce wonderful colours, but dye penetration is often less than commercial dyes and more variable. Please do not expect a uniform colour.
